Therapy for Anxious High Achievers
Therapy for teens and adults who are tired of overthinking, overachieving, and feeling responsible for everyone around them.

But it's exhausting.

You're really good at holding it all together.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Everyone thinks you're doing great, but...

You replay conversations -- wondering if you said the wrong thing.

You put enormous pressure on yourself.

You feel guilty saying no.

You hold yourself to standards that you would never expect from someone else.

You put off asking for help because other people "have it worse".

You don't need to fall apart before you're allowed to get support.

THERAPY THAT GOES DEEPER

You already know that you're an overthinker.

Knowing that isn’t always enough to change it. You understand exactly where your perfectionism comes from and still panic when you make a mistake. You know you’re allowed to set boundaries yet still feel terrible when someone is disappointed. You know you don’t have to be productive every second of the day—and still feel guilty when you take a break. That’s where therapy can help.

Together, we can understand why these patterns developed, work through what continues to fuel them, and help you respond differently when old fears show up.

Understand the pattern

Make sense of why you do what you do. The overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the need for control didn't come out of nowhere. We will get curious about why those strategies once made sense.

Change the pattern

Knowing better and feeling better are different things. Therapy can help you work through the experiences, beliefs, and emotional reactions that keep pulling you back into the same cycle.

Trust youself

Imagine not second-guessing every decision. We’ll work toward feeling more confident, setting boundaries, making choices, handling mistakes, and trusting yourself when life doesn’t go perfectly. You've got this!

MEET HEATHER

You deserve a therapist who can sit with the hard stuff.

Hi, I’m Heather.

For more than 16 years, I’ve worked with people during some of the hardest and most complicated moments of their lives. That experience has taught me something important: the people who look like they’re handling everything are often carrying much more than anyone realizes.

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. But I’m not going to sit silently and nod for 50 minutes. I’ll ask questions. I’ll help you notice patterns. I’ll connect dots you may not have connected before. And when it’s helpful, I’ll challenge the part of you that believes you always have to get everything right. You don’t need another person telling you what you should be doing. You need a space where you can understand yourself more deeply—and start doing things differently.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will understand your drive, respect your strengths, and help you work on the patterns underneath the overwhelm, I’d love to see if we’re a good fit.
